Wildlife Enhancement Plan (WEP)
A Wildlife Enhancement Plan/Biodiversity Management Plan is usually needed following an approval of a planning application to fulfil policies: The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act (NERC) 2006.
It involves a detailed description of the species/habitats enhancement plans recommended for the project site and these plans are adhered to a timetable in accordance with the proposed development timescales.
