Crow Ecology was set up by the owner Chris Crow in 2011. Chris started working as a free-lance ecologist for a number of large ecological companies throughout the UK. After gaining this experience and subsequent licenses Chris concentrated on his own business and has performed numerous surveys and reports for planning applications. Chris has worked on many different project sites such as; Barns, Houses, Out buildings, Residential, Grade II* listed buildings, Schools, Commercial, Fire Stations, Hospitals, RAF Base, Churches, Farm land and Development/Waste land. In this time Chris has carried out over 500 bat surveys and over 500 Great Crested Newt surveys along with other protected species surveys and habitat surveys. Chris is also a volunteer for the Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) and performs surveys for the National Bat Monitoring Programme Surveys (NBMP).
